The all inclusive option was great for people who want to take most of their meals at the resort. The resort is not close to the center of the town. The shuttle bus times to the beach were limited The resort supplied no wash cloths.

Salalh is not ready to tourists. a very poor area along the coast, dirty apartments, the food is mostly street food. locals are often not friendly and can be aggressive. Taxi drivers at the airport are generally trash. The local nature is beautiful, but if there is a car. you can't swim from June to October, it's terrible. There are no promenades, parks for walking. There is nothing to see and very expensive prices. In general, I do not recommend it. In my list of countries, this country is in last place.

Salalah is a very beautiful place with amazing nature including mountains, deserts and beach. It has a reach history and culture which is somehow deferment than Muscat with its tribal traditions, delicious food and green areas. Visitors must enjoy picnics on the mountains to see waterfalls and wadis. Special camel meat (Madhbi) is one the best to me as well as many modern restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. Add on that the people of Salalah are very kind and friendly welcome the guest

It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days...
It was our first time in Salalah and we visited for two days during the Khareef season. We only had a full day to do one tour and had to make a choice. A longer stay of 5 to 7 days would have been ideal to appreciate all the locations. The weather was a nice respite from the bright hot sun in Kuwait being cool, overcast, and drizzling continuously at times. The mountain roads were heavily shrouded in fog and other than being very cool, we could not see much of the views. Swimming is forbidden during this season because of the high waves and strong currents. We found the Omani people, as always, very welcoming and friendly wherever we went. It's best to plan all visits and excursions ahead of your trip.
Breakfast and dinner were exceptionally good and personalized. Because of the corona, we were the only tourists in the entire facility, but the entire staff took care of the two of us. The hotel itself is located in a suburb of Salalah, almost in the middle of nowhere, but the location is very convenient to get into town and is 8 minutes from the international airport. It consists of several buildings with some really big rooms and suites around the lawn with the pool. So you've a lot of privacy as well.
Courteous Staff - Especially Mr Waleed, who took utmost care of the Great Customer Experience and Hospitality at its Best. Being a Vegetarian, Breakfast options were provided on request. Cleanliness, Hygiene, Courteous Staff including Ihab from Front Office, Restaurant Staff & Cleaning Staff who were always having a Smile and Welcoming. Totally worth staying at Salalah International Hotel and will be staying again during my next visit for sure 😊
Room Service and House Keeping: I've stayed in several 5 star hotels around the world but the agility and promptness of Fanar's staff is unmatched.
Breakfast: Excellent choice of breakfast, staff and restaurant manager were very efficient.
Facilities: kids club, beach and the pool were amazing.
Bathrooms: nice and clean, good shower pressure, hot water etc...
We stayed at Atana Stay for 2 nights, and the stay was comfortable thanks to the wonderful team of Mr. Zulfiqar, Mr. Shafi and Mr. Mohiuddin. The location of the hotel is good and the rooms are quite huge. Their suggestions on places to visit were also on the dot. With separate blocks, there is good privacy. Good option for family traveller.
The hotel offers good value for money if you just need to sleep over and continue exploring Salalah. The cafe downstairs offers quite good coffee and a cheap nice breakfast, which is also very convenient. Laundry service is available at an extra charge. We loved the Nepali barista who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay.
Clean and spacious apartments, the location is very good.

Great budget option to stay in Salalah. The hotel is close to the Mall and not far from the airport. The staff was very helpful and they satisfied all my requests. The breakfast served was very delicious.
Reasonable room size, nice modern designs, nice swimming pool, good playing options for kids, good location near Salalah Grand Mall (2 Omani Rial in Taxi) acceptable surrounding view (palm/banana farms).
