Our room also had a nice large adjacent terrace with some seating etc which could be accessed directly from the room. The common area had clean functional kitchen items, dinning table etc for self-catering.

Set in Pompei, 2.8 km from Mappatella Beach, Relais Country House Pompei offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. Great location. Room was quiet, dark and cool for a good sleep. Dinner at the restaurant was nice. The ambience, service and food were excellent.

All excellent. The young man who greeted us sent tons of recommendations and even offered to make dinner bookings for us. Try to get the gorgeous corner room with the bathtub, if you can. We loved the views and getting sun on the balconies during our afternoon siestas. The breakfast is very Italian (small and sweet) but a great version of it. Overall the room was exactly the spacious, airy retreat we needed after the craziness of the historic centre
