We stayed smack dab in the center of town. The view from our balcony was of the bull run extravaganza. Perfect. The beds comfortable, bathroom nice with shower, the space was huge. Parking was down the street not too far but a street long walk costing 14 euro for the day and night. We ate a true Spanish dinner down the street. Took bull pictures in the store next store to our #13.
Did not know that you couldn’t drive to the hotel as our GPS guided us however, our host made a reservation for us to park there for 1/2 hour that was nice.
Walked to citadel and gardens a must see.

I was overwhelmed with the beauty and history of this city. I also have great memories of the people I interacted with; everyone was very kind and helpful. It is a city that is easy to get around in with seemingly no end to incredible history. I hope to return to Pamplona.

Beautiful setting surrounded by mountains.
Beautiful setting surrounded by mountains. The city is full of history and was the capital of the kingdom of Navarre up until 1512. The city walls have survived on three sides and the fortress to the south of the city is one of the most impressive 16th century fortifications in Europe. The cathedral is also lovely. The old city is not very extensive and is easy to explore on foot but the streets are narrow and it would be challenging with a car although the hotel did have its own car park. We had two days in Pamplona and would have liked to stay for a third as we had to leave before we had seen all that we wanted to see.

It’s a small city.
It’s a small city. We stayed one day and saw the main points. I recommend visiting the cathedral. They charge a fee but you can visit the church, the museum and the atrium.
We also walked around the city walls . It was interesting.
Eat at cafe Iruña, from 1888.We had a great meal.

Bustling, friendly city, peppered with excellent restaurants...
Bustling, friendly city, peppered with excellent restaurants, tapas bars and cafes. Pretty streets lined with old buildings. Gorgeous central plaza, beautiful parks and ancient churches. Wonderful towns and countryside within an hour or twos drive from Pamplona - it's a great hub from which to explore Navarra and neighbouring provinces.
This is exactly type of hotel that we love. It is located in the heart of old town - close to all places we wanted to visit. It is modern and very fresh interior - everything functions so well. We got also such great beds (we took a double room with 2 beds) - super size and comfortable. It is also quite to sleep. Nice, quick check-in, good breakfast. Even the solution for car parking is a really good one considering that you live in the old town. Really recommend this hotel.
Had a fabulous stay. The hotel was perfect. Large clean room and bathroom with an extremely comfortable bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful. An amazing breakfast buffet with a huge choice. The surrounding area was quiet but with lots of restaurants and bars close by. About a half an hour walk to the town centre. We'd have no hesitation to use the hotel again.
Great location, walking distance to Pamplona old town. Also, bus stop 50 m from hotel, takes you into the centre and goes regularly. Some restaurants close to hotel along with supermarkets and pharmacies. Room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning. It was 40 degrees so we needed it. Parking underground was handy but a little tight going in and out
We stayed here on our way to st. jean to start the Camino. Staff was very nice. The room was spotless, as was the bathroom. For our room the bathroom was just two doors down. the location is excellent. The old town is right there and Corte Ingles and the bus station are a short walk up the street.
Everything was excellent from arrival to leaving the next morning. Great bedroom with a great view. The hotel is next to the old town, just cross a road and you are there.
Only minor point was there was very little hot choice at breakfast, just personal choice !
The accommodation was just perfeclt. The room was very modernly furnished, spacious enough, the bathroom clean and modern. Beds comfortable. A lot of parking sites on the third floor below the hotel. The city center is about a 20-minute walk from the hotel.
The location was great! Close to everything in the old town square. The place was clean and provided all needs. They had a person on staff to welcome us and answer questions. They also held our luggage when we checked out before we had to leave for train.
I loved everything about Hotel Ciudadela. The boutique design hotel style, the on-site cafe and bar, the quiet position three mins walk from the old town but most of all the professional and friendly staff superbly led by Eduardo. I cannot wait to come back!
Location Walking time to University of Navarre Campus is 2 minutes, while walking time to Public University of Navarre Campus Arrosadia is about 15 minutes. Walking distance to the center and old town (Casco Viejo) is about 10 minutes.
Nice apartment, well equipped. Good location in the center of old town in Pamplona. Next to Plaza del Castillo in Pamplona. 10-15 minutes walk to bus station. A lot of cafes and restaurants nearby.
Great location in the old town of Pamplona, lovely building and room. The breakfast is fabulous and if you are a pilgrim or business traveller this hotel is perfect.
very nice rooms and lobby. great location of arriving by car as it does not require you to drive into the traffic limited old town. highly recommended!!!
