We could go on and on about praising the place. Once we arrived the environment and the view was breathtaking. The whole coastline, the ocean, and even the neighboring island is visible in good weather, on the other side there is the mountainside. Going inside, the terrace and rooms are so thoughtfully arranged and designed that is just very impressive, and the 4-level (!) garden outside is beautiful and prefectly mainteaned just like a botanic garden. Once we thought it couldn't get any better, we got to know our hosts who proved to be the nicest people you can meet, welcoming us with a big smile on their faces (and a pet parrot on the shoulder:) ). Nikolaj speaks perfect English, and his wife tried her best to communicate with us with a mix of Spanish and English too. They showed us around late at night when we arrived and helped us out with all requests we had throughout our stay even though they didn't need to at all. We received the nicest and most genuine treatment possible. We fell in love with this place, and thinking of returning since the day we have left. Cannot recommend this enough, do yourself a favor and book if you have the chance!

great location in the middle of nature

The location of this property is far up a hillside. A car is essential. It is very private, with a gated entry to a private driveway, and it's in the middle of an orchard. There are good restaurants within 10-15 minutes' drive. A large food market is further afield, but there are mini markets very close. It is central to sights on the north end of the island and also the volcano. The house is large, great for a family and entertaining. it boasts a well equipped kitchen, BBQ, two patios, a larger than usual washing machine, and plenty of parking space. There is a large bowl of fruit and a bottle of local red wine on the kitchen table at your arrival.

Beautiful view! Everything is exactly as shown in the pictures. We liked to breakfast at the front terrace with the stunning views over the ocean! The TV comes with Netflix, so even the evening entertainment was good. The host was very friendly and even provided some little breakfast snacks (coffee, water & cookies). Couldn't think of a better place if you like tranquility, relax and get a break from stressful life at home :)

Place is just magical, quiet and so chilled. Great base for hiking in the mountains that surround it as some great trails start just next to it. Chamorga village is remote, so plan ahead with supplies as there is no shop and just one restaurant around. And no phone reception however there is a wifi internet. For us all the above was a huge plus if you want to escape from civilization a bit. There is also very nice shared kitchen with full equipment and dinning places inside and outside of the property. Owner provides very helpful tips beforehand as well as he knows the local amazing trails, so worth asking. Be aware, one of local cats is super friendly and you may have problems to stand up from your laying char in the garden when she sits on your knees demanding cuddles :) Reasuming, highly recommend!

It's just a few minutes (by car) outside of the city center, with spectacular views of Santa Cruz. The sunrise is incredible. Check-in and checkout was easy. The host was responsive and forthcoming. Beware that there are four cats - for me, this was a plus, as they are well-behaved and very sweet. All in all a special place to stay. A car is needed.

Excellent location, near to the bus station and various shopping centers and restaurants. A 15-20 minute walk to the center of town (or take the bus). Very clean and spacious. Well-equipped kitchen.

Everything is just great! I'm sure we will visit Casa Dos Barrancos again!!!
