Azemmour
Set in the medina of Azemmour, riad L'Oum Errebia offers a rooftop terrace overlooking the Oued Oum River, 3 km from the sea. A traditional breakfast is included and free Wi-Fi access is provided in public areas. What a lovely place. The view from the terrace is terrific. Often photos on booking.com make accommodation look prettier than it really is, but there really is a magnificent view of the river, the city walls and city. The room was comfy and had everything I needed, including a heater, which was very welcome and a rare find during my travels. Breakfast was good (juice, tea/coffee, yogurt, cheese, several breads, jams and honey, and eggs had I wanted them). The staff were all polite, friendly and helpful. One met me at the gate to the medina to guide me to the place initially and kindly carried my backpack back there when I left. I really liked all the shelves in the bathroom too. Usually my things end up on the floor as few accommodation places seem to think of shelving for guests. The bathrobes were a nice touch as well. If I return to Azemmour, I'll definitely stay again. The art work throughout the place is also interesting and worth looking at.

The host/manager, Rashida, went above and beyond for me. I encountered some problems when I arrived, and she was proactive in summoning help, and supported me throughout my stay and with dealing with authorities. I couldn't have asked for more from a host. She took really good care of me and also went into town with me and helped me to buy a sim card for my phone. After leaving the riad, Rashida also contacted me to check that I had arrived safely at my next destination. Thank you again to Rashida for all her help and support. It was hugely appreciated in very difficult circumstances.
Aside from this, breakfast was superb, and the accommodation is amazing. Excellent value for money. I was able to leave my bags in the riad and collected them later too.
Rashida has been the manager at the riad for around 10 years, so is very experienced, and very well known in the area.
Azemmour is a dream for any street mural fans and an annual street art festival is held in the town. You can also do day trips to surrounding places such as El Jadida, which has a beautiful small medina and good restaurants.

The hostess, Asmaa, communicated very well before our arrival and was very welcoming and helpful upon our arrival. The Riad and rooftop garden were beautiful, and our room was very clean and comfortable.

There is a private entrance at the riad for the convenience of those who stay. Free WiFi is available and private parking can be arranged at an extra charge. We loved everything, especially: - the location (in the old city, la cité portugaise) - the breakfast - the arrangements to get the key of our bedroom - overall feel of the place

The restaurant at the hotel was excellent. I was at the end of my trip and had tried traditional Moroccan food so I went and ordered the burger. It was fantastic! Honestly so good! They also had Corona beer which was a nice surprise. I asked for a lime wedge to go with it (the French word for lime is "citron vert" in case you were wondering) and the waiter gave me a confused look and came back with a couple of orange slices. I guess they don't have limes there.
Mr Amril, a very kind and caring host made a small space a truly convenient place to stay. Nice decor of the rooms, a huge terrace with a Moroccan fountain 😁, all mod cons, peace and quiet, big Carefour supermarket within 15-minute walk. The apt is on the third floor, but surprisingly you do not feel climbing. The Portuguese Medina needs a 30- minute walk to it. Mr Amril, thank you🌹.
Beautiful Moroccan traditional hotel. Clean room, nice staff.
Just inside the Medina. Pay attention to the directions they give you. Lovely room within a traditional Riad, Rooftop breakfast within a bedouin tent area was great, Friendly staff
Arik, the owner/manager was kind, friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, served in the beautiful rooftop dining room. Location was in the exciting Medina area. So vibrant and east access to Port Ville, and the hop on/off bus. Plus you could walk around the souks for hours Beautiful traditional Moroccan style inside, and very comfortable bed.
The Hotel is situated in the city centre. Very quite and peaceful environment. The Al-Medina market is directly opposite the hotel, just few meters away. The Marina mall is less than 10 minutes walk from Novotel Hotel. And there are many restaurants both Moroccan traditional and others. The city is calm, peaceful and the weather was very cold which was good for me.
the architecture of the hotel and room is immaculate. not like royal moroccan but homely and traditional. and if you want to experience real local life you should stay here. there is a great cafe where beside and people hangout at the small common square in front of the hotel. its a beautiful view. theres corner stores nearby too staffs are very friendly and helpful
The staff was very welcoming. This property had an excellent traditional Moroccan breakfast and diner (Tajine). The family room is larger than their European counterparts.
Riad Tanjil is a traditional beautifully-appointed Moroccan farmhouse located in a little oasis about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The riad provided transportation from and to the airport which was very convenient. We spent the afternoon hanging out by the pool in the backyard, entertained by a flock of peacocks wandering the yard, then were served a delicious Moroccan chicken tagine for dinner. Excellent home-made cooking. We could not have been happier with our choice.
The receptionist lit a fire for us every day in the large, high-ceiling breakfast room. The large traditional patio/atrium with mature plants and trees was lovely. The owner greeted us at breakfast and chatted with my wife about the plants and the history of the building.
